Suspect opens fire on driver in Carrick, driver crashes SUV into nearby home
A drive-by shooting in Carrick caused a vehicle collision that ended with an SUV losing control and slamming through the front of a nearby home.

"The victim of a drive-by shooting lost control of his SUV yesterday in Carrick and crashed the vehicle into a home near the scene of the shooting. A driver pulled up alongside another driver and started firing gunshots at them on Thursday evening in Carrick, officials confirmed. When officers arrived at the scene on East Myers Street they found a man who said that an older model gold Dodge minivan drove up beside his vehicle and started shooting at him. The man was not hit. He told police he tried to get away but hit another vehicle, sending it into the side of a house."
No arrests have been reported.
