Police from Zone 3 said they had initiated a traffic stop around 3 a.m., when the driver fled from them “at a high rate of speed” down Michigan Street. The driver hit a curb at the intersection of Michigan and Montooth streets, crashing into a residence in the 700 block of Montooth, police said.
